Charlemagne’s Girl (2010)
Bay mare by Holy Roman Emperor out of El Tornedo
3 wins to 2017 – her latest win an impressive last-stride victory at Launceston
After a series of placings in strong Maiden races Charlemagne’s Girl broke through for her first win at Stawell in April 2015 in a 1300 metre Maiden. Controlling the race from the front, Charlemagne’s Girl came away to win by 6 lengths eased down.
Following a run of outs – many the result of bad luck – Charlemagne’s Girl returned to her brilliant best on the 17th of July, 2016, winning a BM58 at Wodonga by (an eased down) 3.5 lengths.
