Bay gelding by Flying Spur out of Vivacious Spirit.
He is a half-brother to G1 winner Costa Viva; the talented Staviva; and the very promising filly Tarcoola Spirit.
Red Horse was a $320,000 purchase by the HKJC from the 2014 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.
On the 5/02/2017 Red Horse had his breakthrough win in Hong Kong winning the 1400m Azalea Handicap over 1400m. Jockey Nash Rawiller always had him handily placed behind the speed and Red Horse showed great courage to force his way through gaps in the straight to gain a narrow, but deserved win.

Another brilliant win by Red Horse – this on the 2/04/2017 at Sha Tin in the Crooked Harbour Handicap over 1400m.
Returning to his best Red Horse won the Tai Ho Handicap over 1400m on 8/10/2017.
